PHILOSOPHANDUM EST: HOW TO BECOME HAPPY

This goal is nearly impossible to achieve, "nemo ante mortem beatus" (Horaz?), you know, so, it would be best:: just give it up!
Consequently, the aim must be: how not to be (far) too much unhappy.
O.k., first of all avoid unpleasant things, situations and people.-Then, live according to your own laws and nature (das Genie setzt sich seine Regeln selbst)!-Don't define yourself by futile things!-Don't care what other people think or say (you know: vox populi, vox Rindvieh)!-Believe nothing (alles Lüge!)-Don't think too much (kann schädlich und hinderlich sein)!-Don't talk to fools!-Don't try too hard!-Trust nobody!-Rely only on yourself!-Don't try to understand everything and everybody!-Just live (your own way)!-Don't try to be overly tolerant!-Don't believe too much in people (they aren't worth while)!-Don't pursue luck to eagerly!-And at last: shut up and be happy (halt's Maul und sei fröhlich)!
---
Damit ist die Sache er-le-digt!!- Die Lektüre widerlicher und unseriöser Lebenshilfebücher sollte man ebenfalls strikt vermeiden! Führt eh zu nix und macht alles nur noch schlimmer! Also weg damit! Lest lieber Handfestes wie die Historiker (z.B. Tacitus, Livius, Caesar)!---
