INTERNE NEWS: SMITH & WESSON M&P 327 TRR8

SMITH & WESSON M&P 327 TRR8 bei Demmer in Mannheim bestellt. Kostet 129 euro. 7, 5 erlaubt; anders in Österreich und Frankreich), Lauf (barrel) 6 inches, 861 g (dennoch angenehmes Gewicht), Länge: stolze 29, 8 cm, grüne Optik, accuracy gun, Kaliber 4, 5 mm Stahlkugeln, brüniert, verspricht also jede Menge Freizeitspaß!---
Kritik:Griffschalen können beim Kapselwechsel abgehen, shells können ausleiern, Lack von Trommel kann vorne abplatzen.
Und über die M& PR 8, günstige Variante aus Kunststoff, heißt es: schneller Kapselwechsel (push button; genial gelöst), unkomplizierte Handhabung, hervorragende Schußleistung, Kapsel reicht für 100-150 Schuß ohne Geschoßrückgang, glatter Lauf, trigger: heavy, harsh,  full swingout cylinder (looks more realistic than fake cylinder), accuracy: did quite well, for that price: fantastic, very cheap, plastic: except for some parts good material for fire arms, good quality plastic, realistic release for the BBs holder, quite powerfull, 440 fps, power,  good, not really heavy, loading easy, 4, 5 mm, also pellets, feels well made, very affordable, opening a bit more than 4, 5mm, Co2 well hidden, one could put lazer on it, Schriftzug: "Springfield", well under 100 euro!

SENECAS LETTER ABOUT VATIA: A GESTATIONE CUM MAXIME VENIO...

EPISTULAE MORALES VI, 3=LETTER 55:
A gestatione cum maxime venio (especially when I come from a transport; being carried (on a sedan)), non minus fatigatus (I am not less tired) quam si tantum ambulassem (as if I had just walked by foot that much, quantum sedi (how much I was seated).
The reason for this is that this way of movement is unnatural. Besides, being glad to have a sedan means we aren't in shape any more.
On his trip by sedan chair SENECA, coming from CUMAE, passes by the villa of VATIA. This man was known by nothing but his idleness (inaction; the fact that he did nothing). People often used to say that only VATIA knew how to live. SENECA, however, disagrees to this: VATIA didn't know how to live, but to keep away from everything. For there is a great difference between living in leisure (otium) and just doing nothing! That's why SENECA never passed VATIA'S villa, when he was still alive, without saying: VATIA is buried here! Retreat (in privacy) is often mistaken for happiness. Living for nobody else doesn't  necessarily mean living on one's own! For many a man living in solitude is devoted to vices! So VATIA spent his life in lazy silence and quiet. For the place where you are doesn't contribute much to your peace of mind (tranquility)! Consequently, also friends don't have to be in the same place for being together.

NORMANNUS ET GLADIUS SUUS

Novus postus: diereichsburg.blogspot.de
Confer etiam: Rudolfus Pörtnerus: Die Wikinger Saga (Historia Normannorum), Knaur (in aedibus Knauri), München (Monachi?) 1975 (MDCCCCLXXV), S. 86 f. (pagina LXXXVIII seq.)

MURMILLO GRÜSST ALLE KATHOLIKEN!

Murmillo hodie omnes catholicos salutat! Itemque papam, omnes cardinales et episcopos.

WHEN DID PYTHAGORAS COME TO ITALY: CICERO, DE RE PUBLICA II 15 (28f.)

15 (28) Quae cum Scipio dixisset (After (as) Scipio had told this), "Verene (Truly)", inquit Manilius (said Manilius) "hoc memoriae proditum est (is this handed down ("transmitted to memory") Africane (Africanus=Scipio), regem istum Numam (that this king Numa) Pythagorae ipsius discipulum (the disciple; pupil of Pythagoras himself) aut certe Pythagoreum fuisse (or surely; certainly a Pythagorean (a follower of P.) was)? Saepe enim hoc (Namely often this) de maioribus natu audivimus (we heard from the older people "by birth"=ancestors), et ita (and so; this way) intellegimus (we understand) vulgo existimari (is generally; commonly believed); neque  vero satis (but not satisfactory) id (this) annalium publicorum auctoritate (through the authority of the public annals) declaratum videmus (we see declared; explained)." Tum Scipio (Then Scipio): "Falsum est enim Manili (For it is false, Manilius"), inquit (said) "id totum (the whole thing) neque solum fictum (and not only made up (of whole cloth); invented, lied) sed etiam imperite absurdeque fictum (but even invented in an unexperienced and unlogical; absurd manner); ea sunt enim demum (these finally are) non ferenda mendacia (unbearable lies), quae non solum ficta esse sed ne fieri quidem potuisse cernimus (which we see that they are not only invented, but that they even could not have happened). Nam quartum iam annum (For in the fourth year already) regnante Lucio Tarquinio Superbo (under the reign of Lucius Tarquinius Superbus) Sybarim et Crotonem et in eas Italiae partis (to Sybaris and Croton and these parts of Italy) Pythagoras venisse reperitur (Pythagoras is found to have come); olympias enim secunda et sexagesima (for the 62. Olympiad) Superbi regni initium et Pythagorae declarat adventum (declares; announces the beginning of the reign of Superbus and the arrival of Pythagoras). (29) Ex quo intellegi (From this (can)  be understood) regiis annis dinumeratis (if; when we count the years of the "kingly" years=time of the kingdom) potest (can; can be understood) anno fere centesimo et quadragesimo (nearly (about) in the 140. year) post mortem Numae (after the death of Numa) primum (for the first time) Italiam Pythagoram attigisse (that Pythagoras has "touched" Italy; has come to Italy); neque (and not) hoc (this) inter eos (among those) qui diligentissime persecuti sunt (who diligently investigated) temporum annales (the annals of the times), ulla est umquam in dubitatione versatum (is ever ("not ever"=never) called in(to) question;  "any doubt")." "Di immortales (By the immortal gods)" inquit Manilius (said Manilius) "quantus iste est hominum et quam inveteratus error (how big (great) is this error (fault; mistake) of the people and how old; deep-rooted). Ac tamen facile patior (But nontheless I bear (stand it) non esse nos (that we are not) transmarinis nec inportatis artibus eruditos (educated by transmarine (from oversea) and imported arts (science)), sed genuinis domesticisque virtutibus (but through natural (genuine) and domestic virtues).-

DEATH GUNNER

Danke für Info zum Thema Schießtechnik. Werde noch zum "real death gunner". War wieder im Keller schießen (10 m, jeweils 10 Schuß, einmal 61 Punkte). Leider keinen Nachbarn erwischt.
The only good neighbour I know is a dead neighbour.-Leicht abgewandeltes Zitat von GENERAL SHERIDAN, der ein netter Mann war.
Turner, Sänger und die Schützen,
sind des deutschen Reiches Stützen,
am besten aber dient dem Reich,
wer turnt und singt und schießt zugleich.
Guter Film zum Thema: THE SHOOTIST mit JOHN WAYNE!
